An Executive Committee of six member representatives, elected biennially, oversees AHEIA policy and strategic direction, while responsibility for the association’s day-to-day operations is delegated to an Executive Director.
The Vice-Chancellor (or Director) of each member university, or their delegate, represents his or her institution at an annual general meeting and at any extraordinary meetings held throughout the year.

Professor Greg Craven (Vice-President) - Australian Catholic UniversityProfessor Greg Craven has been Vice-President of AHEIA since November 2009. He has been Vice - Chancellor of the Australian Catholic university since February 2008. Professor Craven was a Deputy Vice-Chancellor Curtin University , the Foundation Dean and Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and a Reader in Law at the University of Melbourne. He also served as Crown Counsel to the Victorian Government from 1992-95. | |
