Australian Universities Accord Panel’s Final Report

27 February 2024

The Australian Universities Accord Panel’s final report was released by the Federal Government yesterday.

The Report contains 47 recommendations for change, which it says can be through staged introduction, if the government accepts them.

AHEIA will be going through the report in detail to provide Members with an analysis of its recommendations, so far as they effect them in a workplace sense.

We also will have the report as an agenda item on our next Sector Check-In, scheduled for this coming Friday, 1 March 2024.

Further, we will not be making a ‘holding statement’ to the media, rather we will provide a statement once we have analysed the report, considered its implications for Members, and then report back to you.

If you have any questions regarding this, please email us at aheia@aheia.edu.au.
