Salary Database Now Available to Members

2 April 2026

Did you know that AHEIA members have access to comprehensive salary pay rate data for the sector through the AHEIA website?

The Salary Database is an interactive resource designed to support members in benchmarking and analysing salary outcomes across the higher education sector.

This is available exclusively to AHEIA members, the database enables universities to compare their salary rates against sector peers and relevant comparison groups.

This resource is particularly useful in supporting Enterprise Bargaining preparation, workforce planning and broader remuneration analysis.

Using the Salary Database, members can:

  • View salary pay rates across all participating universities at a specific point in time;
  • Benchmark their university's pay rate for specific staff classifications against selected comparison groups; and
  • Compare Nominal Expiry Dates (NEDs) an Enterprise Agreement durations across the sector.

The member-only database is updated regularly to reflect the latest available Enterprise Agreement outcomes, helping members stay informed of emerging sector trends.

Members can access the Salary Database via the AHEIA website under:
Resource Hub → Enterprise Bargaining → Salary Database

If you have any questions about the database or issue accessing the information, please contact the AHEIA UniAnalytics team at unianalytics@aheia.edu.au.
